Report to and directly support duties and functions of AVP, Support Services. Assist in developing, analyzing alternatives, and implementing new programs, products, and services. Prepare periodic verbal and written updates of the Vendor Management Program. Attend and participate in project management teams to support all credit union departments.
Correspond with vendors representing Senior Management. Identify, investigate, and respond to stakeholder concerns.
Support business units in their vendor management needs.
Work with vendor owners to risk rate vendors using the defined VM methodology. For technology service providers, coordinate with Info Sec/BCP so that ratings are consistent.
Review vendor files for completeness and work with business units to update accordingly.
Manage the vendor contract database keeping it accurate and current.
Actively participate in all VM audits and exams.
Provide risk management activities related to the VM Program, including but not limited to risk assessments, gap analysis, process improvements, and model risk activities.
Proactively identify risks in processes, departments and vendors and assist with developing and implementing controls to mitigate the risks. Develop and maintain the overall workflow strategy. Identify and mitigate risk from a delivery standpoint and ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures. Deliver efficient and effective escalations in line with the established policies and procedures.
