The HR Director is responsible for leading the organization’s human resources function, overseeing all HR operations, and developing strategies that align with the company’s goals and culture. This role involves managing key areas such as talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development. The HR Director supervises a small team and ensures that HR practices support and enhance business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to forecast staffing needs and promote an inclusive and engaging workplace. Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- HR Operations Management:
- Oversee recruitment, retention, performance management, employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration. Ensure that HR policies comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Workforce Development:
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent. Implement employee development and training programs to support professional growth and retention.
- Labor Relations & Compliance:
- Manage labor relations efforts, including collective bargaining and union negotiations. Ensure compliance with labor laws and handle HR-related legal matters.
- Organizational Development:
- Foster leadership development and drive performance improvement through organizational culture initiatives. Manage performance evaluation systems and lead continuous improvement efforts.
- HR Systems & Analytics:
- Oversee HR technology platforms to optimize operations. Provide leadership with key HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Employee Relations:
- Lead conflict resolution and provide guidance on disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance issues. Maintain open communication with employees at all levels to ensure a positive work environment.
