Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and support cash management functions.
- Assist with cost accounting and inventory tracking to support manufacturing operations.
- Prepare financial reports and variance analysis for management review.
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
