Our client, an international accounting & consulting firm, is looking to hire a Senior Manager within their Business Advisory group.  Open due to the firm’s significant growth, the Senior Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the Firm’s Business Advisory department from a staff management, project service and delivery perspective. The Senior Manager will also oversee the preparation and delivery of firm engagements and will serve as the primary contact with clients.   


  • Leads, manages and supervises multiple engagements by:
    • Serving as the liaison with the clients and the firm by maintaining relationships with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the team is efficient
    • Reviewing financial statement reports, general ledger maintenance and other documents prepared by department
    • Compiling and reviewing financial reports for client management
    • Assisting clients and team with utilization of accounting software
  • Reporting organization’s finances to client’s management, and offering suggestions about utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts
  • Serves as departmental role model by adopting the firm’s values and philosophy, and works to provide outstanding service to existing and potential clients
  • Hires, supervises, trains, mentors and develops all levels of department staff
  • Participates in firm-wide leadership activities including monthly and annual staff meetings, performance meetings, recruitment activities and other duties necessary to advance departmental and firm initiatives
  • Meets with potential or existing external clients to increase client base and to develop new business
  • Involved with engagement budgeting, delegating and monitoring workloads, along with providing training and feedback
  • Informs principal-in-charge of any potential issues and attempts to resolve any conflicts
  • Determines and suggests new processes to help efficiency
  • Strong project management and organization skills to oversee multiple engagements at one time, as well as supervise multiple staff


  • 8+ years’ experience in public accounting
  • Experience within a firm’s outsourced accounting or advisory services group
  • CPA required
