Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team in Marlborough, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Manage general ledger and reconcile accounts
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate and support external audits
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions
- Stay current with industry trends and accounting standards
