Local established company is seeking a Coordinator for Sales Support

Coordinator provides administrative, auditing, reporting, lead management and RFP management efforts and processes of the companies Business Travel Sales Business Development team.  We are looking for a Coordinator to support the administrative needs of our Business Development team, as well as, help with reporting and lead management, as needed, for our specialty business verticals.

You will collaborate across many management levels throughout the Business Travel Sales team. You will proud service/support our BTS SalesPod (mid-market sales accounts), and assist with the automation and optimization of new valuable and differentiated services. You will work with Management to support a culture aligned with the greater Sales and Commercial Services teams, evolving our teams into the most coveted ally in hospitality. This will help shorten selling timelines and drive efficiency and consistency, as well as governance to improve performance.


  • Provide day-to-day support to the BTS SalesPod in servicing mid-market customers.
  • Run e-mail coverage for Business Development clients to address out of office situations and Fires & Favors support for accounts, either through Guest Assistance or directly with hotels
  • Generating reporting for Business Development team and clients
  • Assist in processing RFP/CARP requests and rate loading for Business Development “mid-market” accounts
  • Coordinate Business Development and BTS team events and meetings
  • Assist in managing incoming Business Development / Project & Extended Stay Team leads/RFPs including follow up on outstanding hotel submissions to ensure high conversion rates.
  • Prequalify incoming business leads and follow up on any closed business for future actions/tasks.
  • Work as the dedicated follow-up for accounts and account owners, as well as call support for both customers and hotels
  • Participate in building action plans to address opportunities within your respective Sales team. Using good judgment, stabilize your workload and prioritize work with the greatest impact.
  • Handle expenses, invoices, travel and events as needed
  • Participate in recurring, educational, team-building, and cross-team events with the Business Travel Sales teams
  • Craft ideas to troubleshoot the team's current stressors and contributors to work/life balance issues, and areas where time or resources are being wasted
  • Track and advise on team efficiency needs using Microsoft Access, SQL and VBA solutions
  • Keep up with data requests from a variety of systems including OnQ SM, CARP, OnQ R&I, GDS, Lanyon, and Salesforce
