Looking to hire a Revenue Cycle Specialist who will be responsible for the financial health of different practices.

Position Overview:
Proactively analyze the financial health on a monthly basis to identify reimbursement trends, patterns of denials and to develop an intimate understanding of the factors that are contributing to the clients’ financial performance.

Job Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating the clients billing needs.
  • Creating and educating customers on best practice workflow.
  • Responsible for content build in the software to ensure good billing workflows.
  • Coordinating all practice billing activities with provider office and billing teams.
  • Follow up with clearing house enrollment and assist the practice/CH in the capacity of a facilitator of the enrollment process.
  • Daily tracking of operational elements of the practice
  • Encounters (open/closed)
  • Claims
  • Payment posting (unposted amounts)
  • ERA
  • Billing questions
  • Enrollment review
  • Clearinghouse reports
  • Weekly post go-live follow up on
  • Proactively analyzes financial health on a monthly basis to identify reimbursement trends, patterns of denials and to develop an intimate understanding of the factors that are contributing to the clients’ financial performance.
  • Research, document & train billing teams on specific insurance mandates
  • Research and share billing information pertinent to States and Insurance

 

  • 3+ years of medical billing experience required, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of commercial paper and electronic claims processing
  • Knowledge of ICD, CPT, HCPC coding, ability to read EOBs, post payments and refunds
  • Experience in eligibility verification, ERA, familiarity with HIPAA rules
  • CPC certification strongly preferred
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Sound analytical and problem – solving skills
  • Ability to make decisions and work independently
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Tools
