What You'll Be Doing:

You'll be the friendly face and helpful voice for our patients, accurately coordinating, scheduling, and completing registrations for outpatient visits. You'll collect patient information, verify insurance details, and communicate any patient liabilities. Plus, you'll guide patients through any preparation requirements and coordinate with clinical departments to ensure everything runs smoothly. If non-scheduling questions come up, you'll either handle them or connect patients to the right department.

Your Work Schedule:

  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Shift: Day shift, 8:30am-5:00pm

Health and Safety:

  • Covid-19
  • Flu (current season)
  • T-spot or negative TB test
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) or titers proving immunity
  • Varicella (Chickenpox) or titers proving immunity
  • Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) - optional but recommended if working with babies
  • Hepatitis B - optional

Additionally, you'll need to pass a 10-panel urine drug test (excluding Marijuana) and a background check.

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience is a plus!
  • Experience: Previous call center experience and experience with electronic health records are preferred.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the knack for listening and documenting simultaneously.
  • Communication: Top-notch verbal and written communication skills and a genuine service-oriented attitude.
  • Team Player: Ability to multitask, utilize call center telephone systems, and work both independently and as part of a team.
