Part-time Customer Service Representative

Growing company has several part-time Customer Service Representative positions open on their TEAM.  Schedule would be 10am to 2pm Monday thru Friday.  The Customer Service Representative (CSR) are responsible for interacting with customers via telephone, email and voicemail to answer questions and resolve concerns. You will also be responsible for providing timely, accurate and courteous assistance to customers and internal service teams. 


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle telephone, email and voicemail inquiries regarding all areas of customer’s products or services
  • Provide information and transfer calls to external partners that service our customers
  • Initiate investigations and/or escalate issues on behalf of members to resolve concerns
  • Document and update member records 
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products
  • Adhere to all required policies and mandates

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous experience in Call Center customer service
  • Previous experience in the healthcare/insurance industry
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Typing/keyboard skills of at least 30 WPM
  • Requires excellent analytical and problem-solving ability, attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and deadline driven
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with a proactive personality who is able to work independently or with a team
