Join a purpose-driven finance team dedicated to delivering excellence in long-term care billing. We’re looking for an experienced AR Accountant who knows the ins and outs of Medicaid, Medicare, and healthcare receivables.
What You’ll Do:
- Accurately prepare and submit claims to Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurers
- Proactively follow up on unpaid accounts and resolve denials quickly
- Apply and reconcile payments, match deposits, and track billing activity
- Keep clean, up-to-date records and assist with monthly close procedures
- Partner with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues
- Monitor A/R aging and escalate issues when necessary
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and payer-specific guidelines
You Bring:
- 3+ years of AR/accounting experience in healthcare or long-term care
- Strong grasp of Medicaid/Medicare billing processes
- Familiarity with electronic billing systems and tools like Excel
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Comfort working fully on-site in Worcester
