Our global health client in Baltimore, MD is growing and looking to hire a manager of operations to join their team. Initially this will be a part time role, but the company is growing quickly so will likely turn into a full-time role in a couple of months maximum.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
Key day-to-day operating manager for the company
Oversee all operational and administrative affairs of the company, including managing the relationship with contract manufacturers and ensuring compliance with government partners.
Establish, implement and maintain internal policies, practices and procedures
Lead supplier relations
Ensure efficient and high-quality product manufacturing operations in coordination with corporate partners and suppliers
Manage all product packaging and logistics requirements
Manage direct and indirect costs, including expense and capital budgets
Participate in overall strategy discussions and facilitate business execution as requested
Interface with governments, charitable organizations and investors while successfully representing the company's mission
Key internal adviser for the CEO
As the company continues to grow, the responsibilities for this position will expand to include management of a broad staff of professionals.
3-5 years of work experience, in the project management or manufacturing environment
Experience in QuickBooks
Well-organized and detail-oriented professional, with effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects
Strong interpersonal, leadership and presentation skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
Bachelor's or advanced degree
