Summary: Manages centralized loan servicing department to ensure smooth daily operations and maintenance of consistent centralized services workflow for Commercial, Consumer and Residential loans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)
Perform daily servicing tasks as needed, such as: boarding new and renewed loans on the Bank’s core system, disbursement and payment/payoff processing, escrow processing and tracking, exception handling, loan participation billing and reconciliation, verifying and maintaining insurance, maintaining all legal documentation files in a secure location, and perfecting collateral through recording documents and UCC filing.
Coordinate with Loan Administration on various matters, such as loan closings, information requests, and document collection.
Monitor and manage third party services, such as: tax and flood monitoring.
Ensure proper documentation is obtained and confirm adherence to Bank policies, laws and regulations for all of the Bank’s Residential, Consumer and Commercial loans.
To perform the job successfully, a successful candidate should possess a strong understanding and practical applied knowledge of consumer and commercial loan operation processes and procedures. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate sound judgement and the ability to make independent decisions. The candidate must have the ability to read and interpret procedures, appropriate Bank Policies and government regulations. The candidate should also possess the skills necessary to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures and to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, management and customers.
A college degree and/ or five to eight years related experience and/or training in Loan Servicing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
