Position Duties and Responsibilities
• Process the sales commissions calculations and related accounting and reporting
• Own data integrity, system administrative responsibilities, and external relationships for sales incentive management software
• Assess current sales incentive calculation process and software application and make necessary changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Partner with Management, FP&A and Sales Operations to create compensation structures, quotas and maintain monthly commission reporting and forecasting
• Partner with Revenue Operations to ensure the accurate and timely recording of sales commissions and deferred commissions under US Generally Accepted Account Principles (GAAP)
• Provide commissions information to the Payroll team ensuring deadlines are met and commissions are paid out in the appropriate period
• Maintain end-to-end responsibility for key Sales Commissions cycle
• Partner with Revenue Operations to ensure sales commissions accruals, payments and capitalized amounts are entered into Micro Strategy in a timely manner and classified accurately in the General Ledger
• Maintain the Sales Commissions email inbox and ensure all issues are resolved timely
• Assist with year-end audits and any additional compliance engagements
• Aid in the design and documentation around implementing critical commission policies across the organization
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
• A minimum of 3-years of directly-related commissions experience calculating global sales commissions
• Demonstrated ability to develop strong internal and external relationships
• Experience working in a multi-currency environment
• Proficiency with MicroStrategy or similar ERP system is a plus; high level of proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and customer service skills
• Self-starter willing to think outside of the box, influence change and be proactive in implementing process improvements
