Job Description: 

  • Serves as a marketing adviser and strategist to executives.
  • Implements the creation of materials with a strategic and creative approach.
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders and other subject matter experts to maintain their level of expectation.
  • Completes tasks on time in an effective manner.
  • Strong ability to create and advocate for portfolio work on incoming, current, and upcoming projects.
  • Develops integrated (internal and external) communications plans with the intent to position the company in a accurate and proper way.
  • Serves as a natural liaison between other related team members 
  • Follows the expected brand standards, style, and other regulations with an open minded attitude.
  • Assigns, tracks and manages communications consultants/specialists and other professionals as needed to support the development and implementation of strategic communications plans, programs, and projects.
  • Develop public relations plan for season and each show, including drafting and distributing press releases, pitching advance story angles, maximizing free calendar listings, providing press kits, videos, and other publicity materials. 
  • Track and implement social media coverage for all accounts on a regular basis.
  • Must be flexible with availability when it comes to deadlines. 


Required Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field required. Master's degree in related field preferred.

Experience: Seven to ten years of experience in marketing and/or communications, preferably in a healthcare setting required. At least seven years' experience in internal and/or corporate communications.

 

 


Remarks:

Highly recommended that this candidate is tough skinned, they must be able to handle their work load on their own and be creative to push the business practices along for growth.
