Our client in Natick is looking for a Controller to oversee a team of four! As the Controller, you will plan and direct all accounting operational functions, manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial information for internal and external financial statements. The Controller will report to the company's Owner and communicate with the Board of Owners often as well!

This role is 100% in office in Natick, MA

 

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement and supervise the company’s financial strategy. Apply quantitative methods to drive and support management decisions.
  • Oversee daily and weekly accounting activities like accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, payroll, including conducting a high-level review of each.
  • Oversee monthly financial report preparation and general ledger account reconciliation, including high level review of each.
  • Provide the board with monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and expenditure variance analysis reports.
  • Produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash
  • Ensure timely cash collection by driving the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques
  • Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them monthly
  • Responsible for 401(k) plan and the annual Form 5500
