About the Opportunity

Join a growing commercial services organization supporting customers across the East Coast. We are seeking a hands-on Commercial Equipment Service Technician to maintain, repair, inspect, and transport specialized floor cleaning equipment.

Based out of Marlborough, this role combines mechanical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, equipment testing, and occasional regional travel. You’ll work closely with an experienced technician and receive hands-on training while building a long-term career path.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial floor cleaning equipment and mechanical systems (scrubbers, extractors, burnishers, and related equipment)
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment performance and reliability
• Clean, test, and verify equipment operation before deployment
• Transport equipment using a company vehicle and trailer as needed (approximately once per week, including occasional regional travel)
• Maintain service records and communicate repair recommendations
• Support equipment readiness and minimize operational downtime
• Work collaboratively with the lead technician while developing technical knowledge and repair skills

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with equipment repair or maintenance experience preferred
• Experience working with commercial equipment, small engines, mechanical systems, automotive, industrial, or related environments preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Trailer hauling experience is a plus
• Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a technical environment
