Collections Manager
$85K–$120K | 100% Onsite | South Boston, MA
Seeking an experienced Collections Manager to lead and improve collections operations in a fast-paced credit union environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily collections activity and manage delinquency levels
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce credit risk and losses
- Lead, coach, and develop collections team
- Ensure compliance with all state/federal regulations (repos, foreclosures, etc.)
- Monitor performance metrics and report to leadership
- Work with attorneys, agencies, and internal teams to maximize recovery
- Maintain strong member relationships through effective resolution strategies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, or related)
- 7+ years of collections leadership experience (bank/credit union)
- Strong knowledge of collections regulations and compliance
- Proven leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Experience with collections systems/technology
Comp:
- $85K–$100K base (flex up to $120K for top candidates)
- Bonus/commission structure (~20%)
