Job Summary: The Assurance Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and executing assurance engagements for privately owned companies across multiple industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, leading audit teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality assurance services. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to provide strategic insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
    • Understand clients' businesses, industries, and specific needs.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during assurance engagements.
  2. Engagement Management:

    • Plan, coordinate, and execute assurance engagements in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
    • Lead audit teams, ensuring that engagements are completed on time and within budget.
    • Review and finalize audit workpapers, financial statements, and other deliverables.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality control standards.
  3. Technical Expertise:

    • Stay current with industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to audit teams.
    • Identify and communicate areas of risk and improvement opportunities to clients.
  4. Team Leadership:

    • Mentor and develop audit staff, providing regular feedback and coaching.
