Our client has an immediate need for an administrative clerk in Washington, DC. This position will support a government client with on-the-job training in the ExecSec functions and Federal Government mandated requirements will be provided to the successful candidate. The candidate must be able to review hard-copy and electronic correspondence files/taskers and assess archive requirements per the standards. The successful candidate must be able to determine which files to purge, inventory and/or organize in hard and soft copy into temporary and permanent records. The ability to transfer permanent records onto CDs is required.
The successful candidate must be organized, demonstrate the ability to take direction and to work under minimal supervision, capacity to understand and apply Federal Government Standards. Good computer skills are required. The successful candidate must be able to clearly communicate at all levels, both spoken and written, and demonstrate good time management skills.
Successfully complete on-the-job training on ExecSec functions and Federal Government mandated record keeping requirements.
Review 2018 correspondence files/taskers.
Assess archive requirements per Federal Government standards.
Review paper and electronic files.
Determine which files to purge, inventory and/or organize in hard and soft copy and categorize as temporary and permanent.
Transfer permanent records onto CDs.
Physically move paper files to temporary storage. (Bend, stoop, and the ability to lift 25-50 lbs.).
Prepare eligible permanent records for transfer to Federal Government entity

Responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties with the oversight of more senior positions
College degree or work experience
Able to pass through government suitability and background
