Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract)
Location: On-site in Worcester, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Duration: 4-month contract
Start Date: ASAP

A reputable organization in Worcester is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a full-time, on-site contract role. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or junior-level candidates to gain hands-on experience in a professional finance setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify accuracy of incoming invoices
- Create and process vouchers for payment
- Enter new vendors into the accounting system
- Handle and resolve fee-related issues
- Monitor and respond to AP-related emails
- Manage weekly check runs, including processing physical checks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or current student with relevant experience)
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable and eager to learn
- Ability to commit to the full-time schedule
