Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial reporting, internal controls, and process improvements. This role will be critical in supporting the company’s financial health and providing key insights to drive strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage cash flow and oversee bank account transactions, ensuring proper handling and reconciliation.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions, including reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.
- Coordinate and act as the primary point of contact with external auditors during financial audits and reviews.
- Identify and drive opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in accounting practices.
- Implement best practices and automation tools to streamline and enhance accounting operations.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Prepare and deliver ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by senior management.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and internal controls.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial audit procedures.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with automation tools is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
