We’re working with a community-focused organization dedicated to affordable housing and neighborhood development to hire an Accounting Manager.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role in a small team where you’ll own the accounting function and play a key part in supporting initiatives that directly improve people’s access to stable housing.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, billing, and payments
- Lead month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Maintain and optimize financial data within Yardi Breeze (required)
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Assist with LIHTC compliance reporting and housing-related financial requirements
- Coordinate and prepare materials for the annual audit
- Handle 1099 preparation and support payroll/benefits coordination (payroll processed through a third-party system)
- Assist with oversight of organizational insurance policies (health, property, workers comp, etc.)
- Partner with leadership to improve processes and ensure strong financial controls
What They’re Looking For
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Yardi experience is required
- Background in nonprofit, real estate, or housing strongly preferred
