Temporary Recruiting Coordinator
Location: Leominster, MA
Reports To: HR Manager
Employment Type: Temporary for the summer, could go longer
Confidentially, this position is filling in for someone on leave.  They need this person ASAP.  Possibility to get hired on if this person is a Rockstar
5 days ONSITE.  Pay is open.  Tell me what each candidate wants with submittal
Could be a 3-5 year or Mother wanting part time.  They need at least 30-40 hours.Can be flexible if 30 hours on 5 days/6 hours a day OR 4 day-8 hour schedule.  Hours can be 8am-5pm or start as early as 7am.

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a highly organized and motivated Temporary Recruiting Coordinator to support talent acquisition and human resources activities. This role is primarily focused on recruiting and sourcing efforts (approximately 70%), with additional administrative and project coordination responsibilities (approximately 30%). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition (70%)

  • Source candidates through job boards, applicant tracking systems, databases, and other recruiting channels.
  • Review and vet resumes to identify qualified candidates for manufacturing, maintenance, and other hourly positions.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and interest.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and reschedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate records, interview notes, and recruiting activity within the company's applicant tracking system (ATS) and CRM.
  • Communicate regularly with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate hiring manager feedback and facilitate next steps in the interview process.
  • Extend verbal offers to selected candidates and assist with offer negotiations as directed.
  • Coordinate pre-employment activities and onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Track recruiting metrics and provide updates on hiring activity as needed.

Administrative Support (30%)

  • Coordinate internal meetings, events, and employee activities.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, reservations, and meeting logistics.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other documentation as requested.
  • Support HR and business operations with special projects and administrative initiatives.
  • Maintain confidential employee and recruiting records.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the HR Manager.

Qualifications

  • Atleast 2+ years of recruiting, recruiting coordination, HR, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting high-volume recruiting efforts is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience recruiting for manufacturing, maintenance, production, warehouse, or skilled trades positions is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM platforms preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and customer service skills.

Working Environment

  • On-site position located in Fitchburg, MA.
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting multiple hiring initiatives.
  • Temporary assignment with potential for extension based on business needs.
