Job Description
AP Specialist – Boxborough
Schedule: Full time: On-site 5 days a week
Compensation: 60-70k
Benefits: 20 Days PTO, 10 Paid Holidays, Health covered 70% by employer, and 4% 401k Match
This position is open due to promotion, prior employee moved into a project accountant role. Great opportunity for someone with AP experience to join a growing team with great culture. Open to candidates with AP experience in any industry (60-65k). Candidates with construction industry and Sage300 experience will be compensated at the higher end of the range (65-70k).
The Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist will be an integral part of a high performing team at a growing commercial construction company. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for matching, batching, coding invoices, resolving A/P issues, reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks and expense reports.
Job Requirements
- Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
- Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
- Execute full-cycle A/P
- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
