Finance Manager

Our client is an industry leader in providing the highest-level of corporate immigration advice and due to rapid growth, they are looking to add talent to their team.  They assist organizations to sponsor foreign nationals in emerging fields such as science, technology, engineering, math, hospitality, analytics and others for visa status and U.S. Lawful Permanent Residency. Their sports practice is one of the largest in scope in the country, representing clients primarily in hockey and soccer from coast to coast. They represent sports leagues, teams, player representation and athletes in visa and green card matters.

  • Prepare, review, and manage all Bookkeeping functions at the firm, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable;
  • Prepare monthly close documents, including Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and A/R Aging Summary;
  • Closely review and monitor bank accounts, including firm’s IOLTA account;
  • Reconcile bank accounts;
  • Cut and deposit checks;
  • Prepare and submit payroll;
  • Prepare and process 401K;
  • Prepare and monitor firm budget;
  • Prepare and draft financial forecasting to evaluate future costs and profitability of firm;
  • Create and flag areas for financial efficiencies;
  • Prepare, draft, and write reports as needed;
  • Prepare, draft, and write spreadsheets as needed;
  • Manage costs and negotiate with vendors;
  • Manage banking relationships;
  • Prepare budgets for clients as requested;
  • Review clerical and personnel records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness,
  • Perform other tasks as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of Bookkeeping experience
  • Proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
