We are seeking a customer focused professional, able to communicate clearly with all levels of clients and professionals. Ideal candidate would be responsible for answering incoming calls from Members and Providers while ensuring high level of customer service and maximizing productivity with minimal down time. This individual will also resolve complex types of customer service inquiries and perform routine duties including: order status requests, authorization calls and claims/invoice status. Training is provided; however, prior member services experience is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least two years call center customer service experience (capable of taking a high volume of customer calls)
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
  • Must have excellent decision-making, problem-solving, organizational skills and able to work in a “team” environment
  • Medical claims experience a plus
  • Medical terminology, knowledge of medical billing and codes ICD9 and CPT coding is a plus
